What We Do
Having no strategy is a strategy – it just doesn’t work very well. We facilitate the creation of new strategic plans and revisit existing ones. We create organizational scorecards for evaluation during the year and performance tools that link every employee to the mission and the strategic objectives for the year.
Our Process

Oyster focuses on inclusion of stakeholder groups in brainstorming and in creating, updating, and finalizing strategic plans so that the outcome is supported. We use technology to make this happen in weeks, not months, so success comes sooner.
- Wildest Dreams: Getting everyone in the same room with an artist to capture and draw ideas isn’t just fun; it may be one of the most effective brainstorming sessions you’ve every seen!
- Surveys: We survey multiple stakeholder groups, such as employees, managers, boards, advisory groups, and others.
- SWOT Analysis: SWOT Analyses identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This is a foundational step of strategic planning.
- Draft Strategic Plan: One of the most important steps to take after the draft strategic plan is ready is to get feedback. A plan with participation is a plan that gets supported.
- Strategic Plan: But just because the Plan exists doesn’t mean you’re done. In fact, this is where many fail. It ends up in the digital equivalent of a desk drawer. We keep it out of the drawer and determine how it will drive action at every level, and with every individual.
EOS/Traction
We are EOS/Traction implementors. This model, from EOS Worldwide, focuses on vision, data, process, traction, issues, and people to propel organizations forward. We align with the creators of Traction and can get you using it quickly and efficiently, and communicating on it well. We use the eight questions answered by the Vision-Traction Organizer (VTO).
